The museum advisory board is planning to hold their annual Pounds of Plenty food drive on Saturday, June 25. All food and monetary donations will benefit Shepherd’s Heart food pantry.

Some local businesses have already begun collecting items or donations for this event. A trophy will be presented to the donor of the most pounds of food and another to the donor(s) of the largest monetary donation.

The food drive is held in conjunction with the celebration of Gov. Dan Moody’s birthday. Refreshments will be served on the front porch for all who stop by.
