Friends of the Moody Museum

Please join us in supporting the museum by becoming a Friend of the Moody Museum and helping preserve a piece of Taylor history. The Friends of the Moody Museum was established in 1976 with the purpose of providing support for this historic home and to ensure that the accomplishments of Taylor’s own Governor Dan Moody would be remembered.

In 1978, the City restored the Moody home, located at 114 West 9th Street, to its original condition and preserved a treasured piece of Taylor history, but that was many years ago. Like any home, the Moody is in constant need of maintenance and for that we need your help.

Everyone who joins will receive invitations to special events at the Moody. Anyone who joins the Friends is welcome to volunteer as a docent for tours of the building or to help with other needed work around the museum and grounds. Volunteer work is not, however, a requirement for membership.

Please help us preserve a special piece of Taylor’s history, the Governor Dan Moody Museum. Become a friend of the Moody Museum today. All gifts to this 501(c)3 organization are tax-deductible. Please fill out the form and return it with your check or money order to P.O. Box 669, Taylor, Texas 76574.

Thank you.
